Total Vocal Experience Lesson Policies:

PAYMENTS:
Beginning November 1, 2016, all voice lessons will be paid via auto pay on a monthly basis for 4 lessons.
All students must have a credit or debit card on file, and that card will be charged for a month’s lessons on the first of that month.

NOTE:  If you wish to pay via a method other than the card on file (different credit or debit card, check, or cash), you may do so at least 2 days before the first of the month (so we have time to override your auto pay for that month).

An itemized invoice will be sent out 7-10 days before the first of the month so you can anticipate your charge and let Total Vocal Experience know if anything is incorrect, or if you would like to use one of your “skips” (see more information on “skips” below).

Your payment will remain the same month-to-month with a few exceptions, such as: months with 5 weeks, if you have given advance notice for a “skip” (see more information on “skips” below), or if the teacher has a scheduling conflict.  In these cases, your charge will be adjusted to reflect the addition or subtraction of a lesson.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING:
Starting January 1, 2017, each student is only allowed 4 lesson reschedules per calendar year with a 24 hour cancellation notice.   If you cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, you forfeit that lesson - no reschedules or refunds will be given.

If you reschedule with more than 24 hours notice, you will then have 30 days (from the date of the cancelled lesson) to reschedule and attend your lesson.  Reschedule requests should be emailed to “info@totalvocalexperience.com”.  If you do not reschedule within 30 days, you forfeit that lesson and will not be refunded for it.   **Please note that rescheduled lessons are subject to the teacher’s availability, and may be a Skype lesson.  

NOTE:  Each student is only allowed 4 lesson reschedules per calendar year.  After 4 lesson reschedules, any additional cancellations will not be rescheduled and lesson will be forfeited unless the student wants to use one of their "skips" (see below for more information).

PERK: If a student doesn't use any reschedules between 1/1/17 and 12/1/17, they will receive an extra “skip" on December 1st, 2017 to use before the end of the following year.

 

SKIPS:
Starting January 1, 2017, all students are given two lesson “skips” per calendar year.  By using a “skip”, you can skip a week without being charged.  In order to use a “skip”, you must notify Total Vocal Experience (via email at “info@totalvocalexperience.com”) at least 2 days before the first of the month in which your skip will occur (so we can adjust your auto payment for that month). For instance, if you wanted to use a “skip” for July 15th, you would need to notify us on or before June 29th.  Skips have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred to another student should they decide to discontinue lessons.

** NOTE: Skips require advance notice and are not intended for last-minute use.  Students are better served to save their skips for scheduled absences (vacations, family functions, etc.) and do their best to avoid forfeited lessons by giving more than 24 hours notice and rescheduling, as outlined above.

 

DISCONTINUING LESSONS:
If you no longer wish to take voice lessons with Total Vocal Experience, you must submit a written notice to us no later than the 15th of the month in order to end lessons the following month.  For example, if you no longer wish to have lessons starting in February, you must write to us on or before January 15th.  This gives us time to remove your information from our auto pay system, and tie up any loose ends with your lessons.

If you will be unable to attend lessons for an extended period of time (a month or more), you may have the option of “suspending” your account with us until you can resume lessons again.  Please contact us directly to discuss your options.
